efil’s god Dog Training Clicker and Play Training
Clicker training involves the use of small piece of equipment that the trainer clicks or presses at the immediate moment when a dog displays a particular desirable behavior. At the moment of the click sound, the dog is rewarded to reinforce the desired behavior.
In efil’s god Dog Training Clicker Training, we use the clicker to associate a new behavior with something pleasant (a clicking sound immediately followed by a treat or other reward).
Clicker training is designed to teach dogs the following:
•Positive or desirable behaviors with respect to some particular activity, for example, behaviors based in fear, such as fear of the car, fear of thunder, or the fear of loud noises, etc.
•The fun stuff – all kinds of tricks during play (kids love clicker training!)
•Reinforcement of prior learned basic obedience work
Clicker training is very effective and extremely fun, and is an important aspect of total obedience training.
Your efil’s god will associate pleasant rewards with anything that she or he may have been fearful of in the past, plus, whichever new, positive behavior is being reinforced.
